SNC Incorporated wins IFLR Africa National Law Firm of the Year For Namibia

SNC Incorporated has been named The National Law Firm of the Year for Namibia at the IFLR Africa Awards 2026.

The IFLR Africa Legal Awards recognizes legal innovation in dealmaking, whether through pioneering new legal frameworks, designing novel structures or setting benchmarks for others to follow. The awards are widely recognised as a benchmark for legal excellence across Africa, celebrating firms that demonstrate innovation in complex transactions and contribute to strengthening the cross-border investment environment. The judges recognised SNC Incorporated for its strong role in advising on significant corporate and energy sector matters, as well as its contribution to Namibia’s evolving legal and regulatory landscape.

The judges also highlighted some of the cross border deals that SNC Incorporated advised on, in Namibia’s energy and oil and gas sector which have advanced investments in Namibia.

This award reaffirms the firm’s continued focus on delivering high-quality legal services and supporting both local and international clients on complex and impactful matters.

We are proud to receive this award,” said Shakwa Nyambe, Managing Partner of SNC Incorporated. “It is deeply rewarding to see our work recognised at this level. Much of what we do happens behind the scenes, solving difficult problems and standing with our clients when decisions carry real weight. I am proud of the discipline and care our team brings to that responsibility every day. Equally, we extend our sincere gratitude to our clients and stakeholders for their continued trust and support, which make achievements like this possible.”

The awards highlight law firms, lawyers and in-house teams shaping Africa’s legal landscape, covering sectors like mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, commercial and corporate, finance and energy projects. The awards ceremony took place at the Mount Nelson, A Belmond Hotel in Cape Town, South Africa on the 17th of March 2026, bringing together leading law firms and practitioners from across the continent.

This recognition adds to the firm’s growing reputation in the African and Global markets and reflects the impact of its work in Namibia and across the region.
