THE OPPORTUNITY:
We require the services of competent and dynamic ASSOCIATE with at least 2-3 years post Admission experience to complement our Natural resources, Commercial, Dispute resolution, and Debt collection team primarily based at our Windhoek offices. Our innovative model provides associates the freedom associated with running their own practice within our established infrastracture backed by administrative efficiency and support of an established law firm. Our Firm Invites interested legal practitioners who are willing to share in our values to apply.
REQUIREMENTS:
- LLB or similar qualification;
- Admitted Legal Practitioner of the High Court of Namibia;
- 2-3 years post admission experience in High Court matters, Corporate, Commercial and Natural resources;
- Conducting legal research, drafting and negotiating of commercial agreements, due diligence reviews, drafting legal opinions, pleadings; regulatory advice and contractual drafting;
- Own file maintenance with good knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office programs, Word, Excel, Legal Suite and E-justice;
- Self-motivated and dedicated individuals with the ability to priotize and work independently;
- Dedicated and willing to work flexible and/or long hours
- Experience in Commercial law, Mining, Energy and Labour Law will be an added advantage:
- A masters degree in Law will be an added advantage.
